TEXIER umbrellas matched to bags AUTUMN-WINTER 2011 / 2012
Conceived in close dialogue with the studio of style Texier, this new concept of umbrellas matched to the bags emerged within the Spring-Summer 2006 collection. It is viewed as a continuation of the cooperation started in 1999.
Even today, with a corporate history in which expertise and excellence have been the watchwords, TEXIER continues to prove that sensitivity and emotion are an integral part of leatherwork design. And although flexibility in design enables the company to keep in step with fashion, the desire to design a beautiful product is always based on the same, single factor – it must embellish and enhance the woman who is carrying or wearing it.

PRESS RELEASE (September 2010)The shareholders of the manufacturer of umbrella and parasol AYRENS since 2005 announced the acquisition of SOFRAP.
SOFRAP (www.so-frap.fr) is the continuation of the renown SAUVAGNAT company, leader of the umbrella industry in the 70s’.
This major acquisition enables the group to grow its size by sevenfold. Complementarities and synergies between SOFRAP and AYRENS and the famous brands they sell, will both allow to better meet the needs of customers.
In this respect, a line of SAUVAGNAT umbrellas, brand universally popular with consumers will be launched within few months.
This growth highlights the willingness of shareholders to build-up the world-leader of high-end umbrellas manufacturers, at a time where the French know-how is back on board.
