Our Terms and Conditions of Sales set forth hereafter together with any other legal documents referred to in these provisions and in the www.ayrens.com site, namely our Legal Notice and Privacy Policy Statements ("Legal Terms") set out the Terms and Conditions of Sales on which Users may make use of services (the “Service”) made available out of our www.ayrens.com website (the “Site”), whether as a visitor or as a user ("Users").

We may update these Legal Terms from time to time without prior notice. We would gently advise Users to review these Legal Terms periodically for changes. By using the Site Users agree to be bound by these Legal Terms. If Users do not agree to these Legal Terms then please do not proceed further on any part of the Site.

The fact for any Users to use the Site implies the irrevocable acceptance of these Legal Terms.

Accessing our Site and related-services

Access to the Site is permitted on a temporary basis, and we reserve the right to withdraw or amend the Service we provide through the Site without notice. We will not be liable if for any reason any of the Service is unavailable at any time or for any period.

If Users choose, or are provided with, an identification code, password or any other piece of information as part of our security procedures, Users must treat such information as confidential, and must not disclose it to any third party. We have the right to disable any identification code or password, whether chosen by Users or allocated by us, at any time, if in our opinion Users have failed to comply with any of the provisions of these Legal Terms.

Description of www.ayrens.com's service

Please note that when Users decide to purchase goods and/or services Users should carefully review the Legal Terms, and the related-details on the product page in relation to the order. If there is any conflict or discrepancy between these Legal Terms and information whether written or oral related to the product ordered, the Legal Terms shall prevail to the extent of the conflict or discrepancy.


All prices shall be shown in euros including 20% French V.A.T. and payable in that currency. We can amend prices at any time without prior notice.
Users accept that prices in the currency displayed do not vary according to Users location.

Prices do not include delivery costs that will be charged on the invoice depending on the country of delivery. Orders over a certain amount may be delivered free of delivery charge (read: Delivery charges frame below).

For orders and delivery destinations outside the EU, prices shown on the Site include French V.A.T. but will be invoiced excluding V.A.T. as soon as Users will sign in for placing an order and making payment.

Secured Payment gateway MERCANET/BNPPARIBAS

Purchases of goods and/or services may only be paid for using the secured payment we make available through our payment platform (MERCANET/BNPPARIBAS More details about Secure Payment gateway).

It allows Users to make payment either by credit/debit card (VISA, EUROCARD, MARSTECARD, CB) or by PayPal.

Although it is beyond our own control, Users accept that some banks may charge additional fees for certain transactions (for example, international transactions).


Your shopping cart on the Site displays the goods Users have chosen.

Except during peak periods your order will be manufactured for you within 5 working days (maximum) from the date on which your order will be accepted (4 to 8 weeks minimum for Prestige umbrellas)


COLISSIMO / LA POSTE is responsible for the delivery of goods purchased by Users. They manage a vast network of partners able to deliver worldwide.

In order to enable these companies to deliver the parcel to the delivery address, Users are requested to provide accurate delivery address phone numbers and email address while creating their account.

Goods will be delivered against a signature of Users or a designated recipient at the address specified while placing the order. This signature may be used as proof that the parcel has been delivered. For this reason deliveries at P.O. boxes is not possible.

If the parcel cannot be delivered at the delivery address our partners may retain it and try to contact Users in order to arrange a new delivery. Any rearranged delivery may be subject to a delivery surcharge.

Based on information provided by COLISSIMO / LA POSTE delivery timescales are stated in the frame below. Depending on delivery destinations timescales may vary from 48 hours to 7 days within EU and up to 10 days outside of the EU. The time frame is only indicative. Delays on delivery do not give rights to Users to refuse delivery or to cancel order or to claim for indemnification.

Users having purchased goods will receive an email from us as soon as the package will be in the hands of COLISSIMO / LA POSTE, including a parcel number. Clicking here Track my parcel  provides access to their platform where you will be asked to key-in the parcel number stated in our email to Users.

Check your parcel and your goods on arrival before signing

In order to fully benefit from the ability to return a product either for exchange or for refund ( read Returns and Refunds policies) we kindly advise Users to carefully check the parcel received on arrival.

In the case of significantly damaged parcel and/or goods on delivery Users should better refuse the delivery. Users should then state in writing to both the employee while he requires signature and the local partner of COLISSIMO / LA POSTE. The latter should provide you with a “delivery incident” report.

Users are advised to check while received the items purchased and to report to AYRENS in writing (quoting the order reference) within 48 hours from receipt, any defect or damage related to the product delivered. Returns of damaged items arising from any delivery accepted by Users without reserves reported as stated above will neither be exchanged nor refunded.

Delivery charges will vary depending on the destination Users choose to have the item(s) delivered. For delivery destinations within the EU delivery charges are subject to 20% French VAT.

Indicative delivery times quoted in the frame below are in working days. There are no deliveries at weekends.

Refusal of transaction

We may refuse to process a transaction for any reason or refuse Service to anyone at any time at our sole discretion. We will not be liable to Users or any third party by reason of so refusing or by reason of unwinding or suspending any transaction after processing has begun.

Import regulations and duty

If Users either order goods or request delivery outside of continental Europe from our Site, they may be subject to import duties and taxes which are levied when the delivery reaches the specified destination.
You will be responsible for payment of any such import duties and taxes.
Please note that we have no control over these country-specific charges and cannot predict their amount. Please contact Users local customs office for further information before placing Users order.

Returns and refunds

Within the frame of our Terms of Sales (link), Users have a legal period of 14 days from the date of receipt of the items purchased from this website to exercise their right to return them. If an item does not suit you, whatever the reason, you can either return it to us for an exchange or request a refund.

The following items are not subject to any exchange or return:
. personalised items,
. made to order items,
. items damaged after delivery that has not been the subject of reserves raised by the Users

Users are advised to check while received the items purchased and to inform AYRENS in writing quoting the order reference within 48 hours from receipt, any defect or damage related to the product delivered. Photos showing the damage or the defect are welcome. Users may use the following link to send us their claim together with attached files where necessary (link contact us).

In the case of damaged goods or substantial damage of package received Users should better refuse the delivery.


Returned products must be unused, in their original condition and package including labels and tickets.

If the return is due to an error on our part or defective item, return costs are at our expense provided that the defect is genuine and that we cannot replace the goods within a reasonable period of time.

Otherwise, the return costs are the responsibility of Users. In case of exchange, we cover the cost of sending by post the new product requested in exchange.

To return goods to us please use the following procedure:

  1.     Securely package your product in the original packaging to ensure that it reaches us in good condition. We cannot be made liable for either damaged or lost goods during return transit.
  2.     Join the Return form duly signed and completed inside the package, (download Return form)
  3.     Cut and affix onto the package the label provided for at the back of the Return form.
  4.     Return by post using a recorded delivery method within 14 days of receipt of the items. Send the package at the address stated on the label of the Return Form.


If Users wish to obtain a refund because of a defect in the goods they will be refunded in full.

We will process the refund as soon as possible and, in any case, within 30 days of the day on which:

  • either we received proof that Users sent back the goods to AYRENS and wished to obtain a refund, or
  • we receive a return package,

and our quality officer comes to the conclusion that the return or refund request is valid.

We will refund Users to the same credit or debit card or PayPal payment used for the original purchase.

Uploading material to the Site

Uploaded material must not:
(i) be defamatory of any person;
(ii) contain material which is obscene, discriminatory, offensive, hateful, threatening or inflammatory;
(iii) infringe any copyright, database right or trade mark of any other person;
(iv) be likely to deceive any person;
(v) promote any illegal activity;
(vi) be likely to harass, upset, embarrass, alarm or annoy any other person; or
(vii) be used to impersonate any person, or to misrepresent Usersr identity or affiliation with any person.

Any material that Users upload to the Site will be considered non-confidential and non-proprietary, and we have the right to use, copy, distribute and disclose to third parties any such material for any purpose.
We also have the right to disclose Users identity to any third party who is claiming that any material posted or uploaded by such Users constitutes a violation of their intellectual property rights, or of their right to privacy.
We will not be responsible, or liable to any third party, for the content or accuracy of any materials posted by Users. We have the right to remove any material or posting Users make on the Site.


If we fail at any time to insist upon strict performance of any of Users obligations under these Legal Terms, or if we fail to exercise any of the rights or remedies to which we are entitled under them, this shall not constitute a waiver of such rights or remedies and shall not relieve Users from compliance with such obligations. A waiver by us of any default shall not constitute a waiver of any subsequent default. No waiver by us of any of these Legal Terms shall be effective unless it is expressly stated to be a waiver and is communicated to Users in writing.


If any of these Legal Terms are determined by any competent authority to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable to any extent, such term, condition or provision will to that extent be severed from the remaining terms, conditions and provisions which will continue to be valid to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Entire agreement

These Legal Terms and any documents expressly referred to in them constitute the entire agreement between us and supersedes and extinguishes all previous drafts, agreements, arrangements and understandings between us, whether written or oral, relating to its subject matter. Each of us agrees that neither we nor Users shall have any remedies in respect of any representation or warranty (whether made innocently or negligently) that is not set out in these Legal Terms or any documents expressly referred to in them. Neither of us shall have any claim for innocent or negligent misrepresentation based upon any statement in these Legal Terms and any documents expressly referred to in them.

Force majeure

Where we are prevented from or delayed in carrying out obligations under these Legal Terms due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control including, without limitation, acts of God, governmental actions, war or national emergency, riot, civil commotion, fire, explosion, flood, inclement weather, epidemic, lock-outs, strikes or other labour disputes (whether or not relating to our workforce), or restraints or delays affecting carriers or an inability or delay in obtaining supplies of adequate or suitable materials then either our performance of its obligations shall be postponed for the period of time that the circumstances continue.

Rights of Third Parties

No provision of these Legal Terms shall be enforceable by any third party (which includes for these purposes any third party: employee, officer, agent, representative or sub-contractor).

Law and jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions of Sales are a free translation of the French version (read French version). Only the French version is valid and  shall be governed by French law. Any dispute arising from, or related to them shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Périgueux (FRANCE).
